I thought, it would be so good if restuarants put a suggested wine for a particular meal on the menu list, it would be awfully helpful to those guys who don't like asking questions nor do they like being embarressed by choosing the wrong wine.
And one might be more interested in buying a wine that is recommended as a compliment with a particular meal for a few more dollars.
After voicing my thoughts with hubby, he thought if might be considered not so PC (politically correct) in this day and age where in New Zealand anyway it would not be considered correct to advertise an alcoholic beverage with a meal.
I had another think and thought out loud....
"how about if it was on the wine list in brackets saying which meal it would best compliment?"
